I almost died in the crowd crush in Itaewon, Korea a year and a half ago. I still remember how it felt to be crushed from all sides, how people were dying standing up with their eyes bulging, faces blue.Last night around 10.45-11.20pm at Beyond Wonderland in the highlighted area, we were caught in a crowd surge that felt WAY too similar to the one in Korea. This was probably due to a large artist being put to perform at a tiny stage. Each passing year i feel like the crowd control at insomniac events (like EDC) gets worse as more tickets are being sold but the venue spaces stay the same. I managed to survive in Korea because i went to the sides. We did the same last night but our bodies were literally pushed up against the metal fencing. In the crowd, people were in contact with all my sides and if it got just a fraction worse, hundreds would have been dead.@insomniacevents please do something soon about better crowd control.
