I was diagnosed with autism and ADHD at 22, but I suspected it before. Interestingly, I lived with the wrong diagnosis for a long time. My previous doctor claimed that I had schizotypal personality disorder. Unfortunately, in Russia we have a huge problem with diagnosing autism. Did you know that all autistic children in Russia used to be diagnosed with schizophrenia after 18 years? Now you know, lol. Because adult autism doesn't exist there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And autism is still only a childhood diagnosis thereLuckily, I got to a doctor who is autistic himself. So everything is fine and correct now :3
