Only in the Bible can a man finally come to a safe haven that will never lie to him. It will never distort or pervert or tell him smooth things that flatter him and that he wants to hear. No. The Bible is hard truth. And it will not budge off of it whether we like it or not. This why the people of the world abhor it, run from it, and seek the cover of darkness (all else in the world) to escape it. John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”
